Headliner board replacement/fabrication?

Hey all, I'm new to the forum and was hoping to get some input! I have a 99 GT with a sunroof and my headliner board is thoroughly shot. I've been looking around on the net for any sort of replacement board but have had no such luck, so I was wondering if anybody here has attempted to fabricate a new board and if so how did you go about it? Any info would be awesome!

Are you sure its the board and not just the carpet seperating from it? Being a sunroof might make for a little tougher time and if it were me I would think about talking to an upholster (sp?) to at least get a quote. They should also be able to put a better quality piece up than the factory or yourself could do.. Just my .02 cents though.

Yeah it is the actual board itself. I was kinda hoping that I wouldn't end up having to take it to a shop but theres no doubt that they would do a better job than I could! Just hope it wouldn't be terribly expensive.
