So yesterday i was cruising on the Bahn, windows down. Had to school some youngin in a ricer, but at around 130 or so, ( speedo stopped at 120 but was out of sight) my headliner popped down, right onto my head. :o it didnt rip anywhere, but there seems to be a couple metal bows inside that popped down. How can I fix this? Can I fix it?

Just turn the bows back up

When your installing a headliner, you do it with the bows hanging down, position the bows, then rotate them to the upward position. Might work.

Short of pulling it out and gluing it to the roof you could run an aluminum strip from side to side screwing it to the roof cross beam or front to rear down the center attaching it to the inside windshield framing at the front, to the cross beam at the center and to the back glass framing at the rear. BUT, you have to use real short screws and know the exact position of the anchor points otherwise you'll end up with holes in your roof and that would suck.

ok, so I guess the bows just come out of where they are supposed to be. I'll have to pull it down to see if I Broke them. thanks

To really fix it, you need to remove the front and rear window, pull the headliner tighter, and reglue it.

The cheater way is to put in a dome light.

Good luck.
