Anyone done their headliner themselves? That's all I've got left on my interior but $200 seems steep for what it is...

i paid the piper, my worry is that eventually gravity will take effect and whatever I attached or glued to the piece would not look right.

As long as your backing is good (mine was water soaked and fell apart) all you have to do is go to a fabric store, get the type you like, get the 3m multipurpose adhesive (spray can), cut the pattern out, leave about an inch over hang, then spray glue BOTH sides let it get tacky and apply the fabric.
I got mine from 5.0resto, it was a bit of a job putting it in but everything looks great and is still holding up after 5 years or so

93project I have a really nice OEM black one for sale for less than that. Why buy a replica when you can have OEM? It's for a non-sunroof, non t-top car. Send me a PM if you're interested.

i did the headliner myself brand new from LMR. had to cut a hole for the sun roof but other than that its pretty easy as long as you use good glue.

Headliners are super easy to do. The hardest part is getting it out. Go to your local fabric store and pick the fabric of your choice, get a good spray adhesive, and get started. Spray the adhesive and start applying the new material. Start your way from one end to the other.
