can I install a vt stage 3 blower cam in a n/a car???? well what I'm planning on doing is purchasing the stage 2 heads with a stage 3 blower cam, I'm planning on staying n/a for while until I get some money to upgrade to a forged bottom end and purchase a blower, I purchased the typhoon intake manifold and just waiting for it to arrive and will it be a good combo??? (stage 2 heads, stage 3 blower cam, and the intake)

thanks

it is important to remember with cam selection

WE ARE NOT CHEVY BOYS !!!!!!!!

what that means is, we consider combination when selecting parts. cam profiles take into account the method of induction. ramp speeds opening and closing determine cylinder filling. blower profiles forget about filling as they have forced air. stick to a NA profile unless you are switching. now with that said a profile with moderate overlap and a bias toward exhaust can work with a blower well, just not the other way around.

don't just look at numbers, remember profile actaully decides filling not duration and lift numbers as much.

symmectrical, fast opening/slow closing, slow openening/fastclosing are some examples of profiles.

lift rates/close rates are carefully calculated based on a generic intake, port size/flow/taper, and exhaust port/headers. custom is for your exact combo.
