Heads question from a 90 to a 93

I just found a motor from a 1990 2.3L, and I have a 1993 2.3L that needs heads....Can I take the heads off from the 1990 and put the heads on the 1993 Motor....

I know the difference that the 1990 has the distributor and the 1993 has the 8 plugs...

Easily?... No!

For a direct swap, look for a '91 or later Mustang or 89 or 90 and later Ranger. They'll have the dual plug head that's the same casting as the one on your '93.

It's too much hassle to swap the 90 head onto the '93
