Heater Core

For the guy who was talking about his heatercore going out:

I just bypassed mine today, it was cake. If you don't need your heater, don't replace it, it's a bad idea, way too much work. But, I figured out that thats not why my car was running hot though...because it still does it. Yes, thats why I was losing coolant, but the thermostat is messed up too....so I'm going to yank that out later this week. Should be fun. Why replace parts when you can just get rid of them?!?!?! That's a great philosophy....and it will also be the philosophy that brings us all to our doom....because eventually we'll use it for things like brakes....and steering wheels... and exhaust pipes....and air filters....and i could probably go on....but I believe that I've said enough.
