so my motor is all freshly redone, and i filled the coolant and pressure tested to 16psi and its weeping from the heater tube nut. im assuming its bad and needs to be replaced but how does this seal in the first place? its just a tube flared with a collar, but it doesnt butt against anything on the bottom. ?
also what size is this, its slightly over 1"

Are you talking about the tube that runs along the intake? If so, it's a tapered pipe thread. Try sealing it with that white pipe thread tape. Just wrap it around the threads a couple of times and tighten it back up.

*Old thread*

Anyone know where to get a NEW one that isn't $100? I thought about using heater hose and replaced the metal tubing, but forgot that it needs a place for the coolant sensor.
