Heater tube tread size?

Heater tube tread size . I had a new motor built for my 1989 foxbody and switched it to carbureted. I tried to leave the steel heater tube in place but it's to close to my electric choke and also seems to have a small leak now where I cut the sensor out and tried to connect with a rubber hose for the time being but now I'm looking at switching over to rubber hose and I'm just trying to confirm what fitting to get from the intake.

Thanks Bart

Change of plans now. What did others do with there heater lines?

My heater tube was missing so i got a heater outlet off something else just to have a port for thr ect and a water outlet for the heater. The tube is only three inches long but it's enough. I just run straight hoses back along the valve covers then connect to the shaped heater hosed with dorman hose connectors.

The purple paint is peeling in a lot of places.
On the cowl i found some loose so i took a razor blade to it a revealed the original color, bright regatta blue. I want to strip tha purple paint off.
