Hego boss in shorty headers?

I read the thread about tailpipes vs dumps and currently I'm the hillbilly truck with dumps.
I do have turn-ups and exhaust tips that I never put on (lazy) because I wanted a new x pipe 1st. I'm also running rich and I'm still figuring that out.

So, ive got the x pipe coming soon and I was wondering if I should pull my motorsport shorty headers too and attempt to put a boss right @ the collectors to maybe get a better hego response.

Has anyone done this or am I over-engineering a tried and true method.

I was thinking about putting extra bosses in anyways for lambda meters in the future.

Not a great idea. You noted Hegos (not Egos), so you know the heater circuit takes care of the light-off. Having the O2's closer to engine's heat would lead to more issues than anything else (O2's cant handle extreme heat, and this is true with most WB O2's as well).

I'd try to figure out another solution for your car's issues.
