Hellooo Bassani

Got me a pair of Bassani mufflers. Got the in them mail today, and wasted no time cutting the Bullets off and putting these on. It was pretty late so I didnt get a chance to hear it, I'll just have to wait till tomorrow. I was running the same setup before just Dynomax Bullets instead, it was just too loud and annoying. If these are just a tad bit quieter and a little more exotic sounding I will be happy. I will try and get a sound clip tomorrow if you guys are interested.

I like Bassani, they have a very nice sound. With a full cat back, the exhaust note is deeper at idle, the cruise sound is very mellow you can actually hear yourself think, no drone and WOT sounds awesome. I believe they advertise them as "Quiet Thunder". At least they did 10 years ago when I used to be a distributor and installer of them.

I am excited to hear them, I've had the bullets on for like 5 years now, I am so ready for something new. Ever since I saw this car I've always wanted bassani.

I actually got them from a guy on stangnet classifieds for 130 shipped. Just the mufflers, I had already made the catback before with my Bullets. I just took a piece of straight pipe, had a muffler shop flare it out to fit on the ball of the mid pipe, put a flange on it, and welded the bullets on. I moved them around into place and tacked a hanger on em. So for these I just cut the bullets off and clamped the Bassani's and called it a day (with my welding skills and welder thought a clamp would be cleaner).

Im gonna try and get a good video tomorrow. They sound really good, I love the idle and low rpm's on em, up top though they really arent very loud at all, not as loud as I would like, but I did just come off from using the Bullets so I am going to have to get used to them. It feels like I'm driving a street car now though at least rather than just some savage race car that really wasn't even that fast (what it's like driving with Bullets).

My Bassani mufflers look way different then those?....mine look like this? wonder if mine is going to sound different or louder? I think mine are like 14 inches long total...and like 8 inches wide and i think 4 inches high....
