Mach 1 Help...04 Mach 1 Vs 05 GT

Here is the deal......i currently own a "03 GT coupe premium..(Silver)....FULLY loaded.....I even have the Mach 1000 audio system.....i only have 6800 miles on it....i have 3 years left on my lease....i was thinking of trading it in for a 04 Mach 1 (screaming yellow)....I would have to lease it for 5 years and the payments would be $135 more a month from where im at now.........Should i get the Mach 1 or wait for the 05 GT???

The Gt would definitely be more money (no $2500 rebate like the Mach)

On the other hand if i do get the Mach in 3 months or so when the 05 GT is released i will feel like i have an old car and ill be in the hole for 5 years!

What do you guys recommend i do?

Thank you very much....It means ALOT

I just went out and brought another one I loved my 03 so much. The fact is there will be about 15k Mach's 1's (my guess) produced. I think many are going to find after the 05's are out for awhile ther'll be very common and everywhere just like the PT's when they first came out.

I love the performance and it's limited edition status. Plus I get the jump on paying the car off for when the new Boss/Cobra come out :spot:

go for the Mach. I agree, the limited edition status is sweet, plus the mods for the car are already out. With the '05, its gonna be a while before you can buy mods for it.

With a new car design comes new design problems. While I'm sure Ford has done their homework, it is a new engine and new suspension which is gonna have issues at first. The Mach 1 is the safer and smarter buy.

If you're going into even more debt, the '05 is the better move...assuming some sort of parallel costs between the Mach and '05.

My '04 cost $23,800. I have no idea what an '05 will actually cost, but shouldn't be too much more (unloaded, as they say.). Whatever the difference, you will probably recover on the '05' in the medium run. Also, the '05 promises to be a better car, technically.

So far, we're talking technicalities and economics. If you prefer the Mach--and I certainly enjoy mine--then that should be controlling. Good Luck.
