Help!! 2000 Mustang Giving Me Issues!!!

Hey guys.

I'm having issues with my 2000 Ford Mustang 3.8L

The issue: Every now and then my Mustang chokes like it's not getting enough fuel. I'll have my foot down on the throttle and it'll surge. (Power-no power-power-no power etc) This issue has not been too bad until about a week ago. The weird thing is that it's been running days without this issue and then out of the blue it will start again. I've checked for fuel leaks, and even replaced the fuel filter. That seemed to make it work for 4-5 days and the issue is back. It idles weird as well. It'll sit under 1k Rpm spike up to 1100 and go back down (this happens when sitting at 20 to 30 intervals)

It seems to be running rich as well. Don't know if this could be part of the problem.

I've put a new throttle position sensor on last week, and gave it a tune up with new sparks and lines, as well as oil. Anyone having this same issue and got it fixed. Unfortunately this car isn't worth dumping tons of money into (body is badly rusted out)

Any help would be appreciated.
