so i'm taking off the diff. cover now to change the rear end oil (it's time and swiching to royal purple) i'm going to let all the old oil fall out. but i'm looking at the cover and the rest of the 8.8 and i can't find the fill hole.
How do i put the oil back in once the cover is back on?
On the front of the housing, drivers side next to the driveshaft. There is a little metal plug. I just used a 3/8in ratchet and extension to get the plug out. You might need to remove that dampener to gain access.
