HELP! '96 stock alarm system

I have a '96 Convertible with the stock Ford alarm system and keyless remote.

The alarm goes off sporadically - sometimes when i'm driving, sometimes not for days. I have to disconnect the battery everytime I stop the car. http://forums.stangnet.com/images/smilies/banghead.gif

I would like to just disconnect the system, but when I disconnect the module located in the trunk - then that disables the engine. I can't find a fuse. I tried taking to a Ford dealer, but they didn't know what to do.

I don't care if I have to hack it out, anything!

You know how sometimes you see the pics with like a herd of sheep and then there's a duck that they took in as one of their own? We would be more than happy to help, but your alarm system is like nothing that foxes have.
