Ok, I got my carb back from Pony carbs, The promblem is when the car gets warm the idle is getting stock or its just wont kick down unless I tap on the gas! I'm new to all this classic car stuff, I was told to back off on the hot idle screw! Is this the screw on the driver side or the one on the passenger side next to the dial that says lean on it? The car is a 1965 4-speed and the carb is an autolite 4100. Help please!

it wont kick down until you tap the gas, the high idle screw sits on a stepped cam, the choke moves the tension on the cam but the throttle will hold it in place until you tap the gas to release the tension. That is Normal.

Nice one Worth. Few people are aware of the workings of the fast idle cam and on how to adjust it. Pony sends out carbs ready to roll. One thing that needs to be done before start up is to fully depress the gas pedel one time to SET the fast idle cam.
