I've got a slight problem while I was opeing up my stang on the highway to show my lil cousin what shes got, he screams lmao, and says somehitng burned him sure enough what looks, smells and tastes like antifreeze is leakin into the interior of my car I am under the impression it is my heater core I'm pretty sure ive heard of this before but could someone verify this????
Thanks

There is a recent thread about the bypassing of your H/C tubing. You'll need (IIRC) 3/4" hose and 5/8" hose and a adaptor that you can pick up at your local hardware store. Use those hoses to form a U shaped bypass at the coolant entry point on the firewall (on the engine side, not the heater side.)

This will stop the coolant from entering the heater core, but will not stop the coolant that is already in the core from seeping out and onto the carpet. Removal of the dash is required to swap out the core and will probably take the better part of a weekend to get it done.

Awsome thanks alot for the help I got the hoses and a plastic fitting kinda iffy about that but I think next weekend I will plug the water pump line and block off my lower manifold does this sound right or will this screw up my coolant flow??? Thanks
