Help Asap!! My 94 Gauge Problems

So i recently got ahold of a 94 gt 5.0 ho 5speed everything 100% on it but two days ago i was drivong home and the oil pressure gauge and coolant temp gauge just pegged out but it wasnt running hot and then i cut it off and it killed the battery. So i need help asap ita my daily and i got a daughter to get to school so anyone please help

Your symptoms sound like a battery cable or ground issue. Check all of those. I doubt a sudden electrical glitch would kill a battery - more likely a corroded cable snapped or loose connection / terminal gave way. If in doubt, have the battery tested at your local parts store.

The battery got tested today and it was fine and i dont know where any grounds are located except the one near the battery. I got told that their is one that is usually the ground for the guages but i have no idea im new into the mustang world

You could google 94-5 v8 ground locations for more onfo.

Should i also look into replacing the oil pressure sending unit ? And the coolant temp sensor?

I test them with a nine volt battery, I think you can just ground them with the ignition on and the gauge should max out, just long enought to test the gauge, here is a thread to look at too.
