That statement should be on snopes.com.slvrgt said:you will definatly notice some loss of low end torque

MRT, or Prochamber.
It's the butt meter.slvrgt said:i have no idea but every body ive talked to with on off road H says they lost some low end torque

I have yet to see a dyno sheet that shows a loss of torque after an O/R midpipe swap. All of them show a small increase below 3,000 and a large increase above 3,000. That gives the illusion that you lost some down low.
Also, the exhaust is louder. What you're normally used to hearing at 2500 RPM, you now hear at 1500 RPM. So you're ears tell you you are at 2500 but you're really at 1500. Your butt meter is expecting the pull of 2500 but it's only feeling 1500.Stang|ess said:Yes I made that statement from the SOTP feeling, but I spend most of my time under 3000. It felt like I was starting in 2nd gear or something, it was just really slow off the line. Sound and power up top more than makes up for it though![]()
