HELP car won't start!

well i haven't gotten around to putting my new hood on since my little accident and a rare occurance happened in phoenix... it rained. hard. well i was at work and there's no covered parking, so the best i could do was cover my distributor with some plastic wrap. tried to start my car after work and it won't fire. it'll turn over, but not start. i took the cap off to see if it got wet inside, but it was bone dry. so what got fried? i haven't the slightest idea how to troubleshoot this. thanks.

check and see if you have spark at your plugs. if you dont, then we can work backwards from there to see whats wrong

well i worked backwards from the plugs and turns out it was the coil. all's well. thanks Chads
