Ok, well my friend has a 1991 acura legend with the type II engine in it rated at 230 hp (at the flywheel) and has a 5spd and he is talking all kinds of crap on my car, friends 89 GT, and other friends fully restored 69 fastback w/ a 351 in it. needless to say he has earned the title of a complete idiot. I just want to make sure that i can beat him with the mods in my sig...
I know i need to install the 4:10's and pullies but im really short on money right now. And by the way, he cannot drive worth $hit. I mean at all.....

thanks for your help. Also, how would the outcome be if i had the 4:10s installed?

Edit: Mine is an auto....ya i know :notnice: thats what the 4:10s are for :D
Edit 2: This guy has never raced a manual in his life....He wont want to go from a roll. But somehow he said he beat a 95 cobra on sunday night  :rlaugh: :nonono: we all got a kick out of that http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2467761381&category=33731 <-----how do those look?

u should beat him even without the 4:10s. install the pulleys. don't let him talk u into starting from a roll like most ricers do. make him start from a stop, and you'll own him.

if he can't drive well let him smoke his tire's during his launch while you drive away laughing at him. :rlaugh: :owned:

That car cant smoke its tires....i would have no doubt in my mind if he bogged it really bad or just stalled :rlaugh: :rlaugh: I just need some more confidence to really race him. So im okay stock right now and then annhilation would be at hand with 4:10s.

any 80s gm car with a 305 is slow, all 80s camaros for example are extremly slow and can be beat by hondas, not a big acomplishment really. bad generation for the camaro and trans am.
