Hey Guys. Need some opinions. Looking at throwing either Nitto or BF Drag Radial's on my Stang. What size of rim and tire will fit under my 87 GT without having to notch or bend the rear quarter wheel lip. I don't want to have the tires rubbing. The quad shock's are off and so are the tailpipes. I'm using 15" Weld Draglites. What backspacing will I need?
Between the BF's and the Nitto's which ones would you use? The car has 3:73 Gears, a 5 Spd, and about 550 Flywheel HP. I drive the car alot on the street so life span of the tire is an issue.
Thanx, any help would greatly be apprieciated.

i just got the nittos on some welds with 276/60/R15's with 5.5 inch backspace. i love the tires but they rub like crazy. i had to bang in the wheel well and they still rub a little over bumps and hard turns, but they look killer and they hook up real nice. if you dont want any rubbing dont go with 275's cause there is alot that has to be done to make them not rub. and also i've heard that the nittos last alot longer than the bfgs from alot of different people

The BFG's will give you a much better bite, but the nittos will last you twice as long as BFG's.
