Ok, I recently purchased a set of 85 gt alum. valve covers(powered by ford) written on them, Im having trouble finding a PCV grommet to fit the twist-on style hole. Anyone know where I can find one of these, Ive already been to the local parts stores, Ive tried trimming another grommet to fit, But it doesnt stay in...Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy grommets by size... maybe try there?

I can't say I know what the valve covers you are talking about look like, but usually the PCV valve is integrated into a piece that looks like a valve cover breather. There are a million different styles that you could purchase of this variety.

LOL, Yea I wish...downpiped is the name of a rock band I used to play drums for...my old valve covers have a circular hole as opposed to the twist-on style hole, a plain grommet plugs right into the circular hole, but the twist-on has to "wings" on the sides...I know they make them... Check on 2bav8's website...I have those same valve covers...Here's the link of a pic...

Mustangs Unlimited stocks the "twist in" style grommet. You can also try your local Ford dealer as well. Ford racing also listed the twist in grommet. The one you're looking for fit all Ford twist in style valve covers, both steel and aluminum.
