Help ID this carb ASAP!

I need to move my '66 as soon as possible. I need to rebuild the carb but I'm not sure which one it is. It's a 2bbl on a 289. The VIN says it should have the "K" code 289. It's obvious it's not the hipo anymore , but I have no way of knowing what it was swapped with. I can't find a tag or any stampings. Got any guesses?

is it an autolite? or some other brand? If you need to rebuild it send it to ponycarburetors.com . Although you might try to fix the carb urself(depending on how bad the condition is of the carb).

I'm not sure what brand it is. I've had it on there since I bought the car in '94. But now that I need to know, I might as well have found somewhere.

Looks like an Autolite or Motorcraft.
You could rebuild it yourself.

Are the rebuild kits the same for these? Like a universal type thing?

Looks like a Autolite 2100.
The auto parts store will ask what year, I believe the kits come generec, one kit will rebuild a couple different year carbs.

Well, now my dam computer shows the image of the carb. Yep that looks like a stock autolite carb. I still have the original one from my car, but the previous owner screwed it up(so he gave it to me).

Autolite 2100, no doubt about it. The throttle bore size is cast into the driver's side of the fuel bowl, behind the accellerator pump rod. They originally had a metal tag attached to one of the bowl screws to id it. Not all 2100 kits are the same, they changed the floats sometime in their history. Better off replacing it with a Holley 2 bbl anyway. Either the Holley 350 or 500 cfm is a bolt on swap here. The 500 will give it about a 20 hp boost over the 2100. 4bbl performance in a 2 bbl package. If that 2100 has a 1.21. 1.23 or 1.33 cast into it, that's a bonus. The dirt track crowd will pay top dollar for those, especially the rare 1.33 bore 2100's.

I think I remember seeing 1.14 stamped there in a little circle. Anyway to tell the year before I by a kit (don't want to get the wrong float stuff). I can't afford a new carb, and the car has to be moving by Thursday.

Just from the way it looked in the picture, it's a 60's to early 70's carb. They changed the float attachment some time in the 70's along with other mods.

Thanks everyone, it is a 2100. Gave it a quick rebuild, fixed the problems, and got it moved in time! Thanks again. I don't post a whole lot, but this place never lets me down! :SNSign:
