the car is an 88 5.0

who knows what these three parts are under the dash do, or where I can find out? i think all of them have part numbers on them.. is there a database online where i can type in ford part #'s and find out what they are? above them is a harness that runs from driver side of car to the ecu, im assuming most of those wires are for instrumentation..but would really like to find some wiring diagrams. the chiltons isn't cutting it.

also, the second picture is of the fuel pump relay under the driver seat. I'm wanting to wire it seperately but theres a few extra wires hanging off of it, not just ign, pwr, gnd.. what are thoose for?? yeah following these wires through that tangled mess is no fun, they are all so sticky from 18 year old elect. tape.

the next pic down below is of a button that opens when the clutch is pressed in. what is that for!? this is a different unit than the cut off switch that that opens to kill ignition when the clutch isn't pressed in.

well

anyways. and the other pic is one of the whole car. as much of a shell as i can pull it down to until i get an engine hoist. if i can get some answers i'll let you know the biiig plans. lol. if anybody wants to know.

Part numbers would have been helpful. Is this a LX or GT. I'm guessing GT because the module in the middle looks like the low fluid module for the GT warning lights. The module to the left looks a lot like the wiper governor, but there are some differences so maybe not. The part on the right looks like one of many relays. Maybe the horn relay?

Try Googling the part numbers and you'll probably get some hits with enough identifying information or you can try www.motorcraft.com which is helpful when you have part numbers.
