Even without the spray, I bet that stang would have spanked him.motor vs motor.
he's got 68 more cubes then your friend on a ford motor no less.
my 306 used to give those stock ls1's a run for there money.
the chevy 350 has always had a hard time keeping up with ford motors of a lesser cubic inch.these ls1 guys are always whining about a 302 with 8lbs of boost smoking them,"you got a blower" well you got 48 more cubes,go head to head with a 351 stang built to the same specs.what will your excuse be then?"i missed a shift"
ls1=losing sucks 1 big dick.

44 more cubes ls1's are 346

Yeah ive always said the same a 351 mustang will be more of an even match. but then again ive also always said that fords are better at building small cube engines and GM is best at the bigger cubes.

I'd love to have the REV happy LS1.

lol i was talking about the 302 and 346 forgot there was 2 things in ur posts about cube diff

but ya in the 418 case then it is 72 motor to motor it would be a good race! spray to spray will also be! The TA lays over 550/600 to the wheels with the spray its retarded and it still get 26MPG

The 32 valve motor will always be superior to a LS1! 32v redline at 7-grand, vs LS-1 6-grand, 5-speed trans w cable vs weak hydrulic slave cylinder clutch gm has. 8.8 ford rearend vs the weak 7.5gm. not to mention leaky T-tops on F-bodys.
Moral of the story Friends dont let friends drive F-bodys. 4cams must be better than one! So I give Gm a big

I was at a track day last friday. The fastest fox was a 93 Cobra. Stroked, serious h/c/i package, ysi, big boost, meth, the works. He was running 10.3x's. There was an all motor full weight ls1 running 10.60s.

stock for stock the 32v would get walked on my a LS1. 32v lay down 280ish and the LS1 will lay down 315ish. I dont think you would be able to take a stock engine full weight cobra to 12's my buddy took his 02 WS6 full weight and all stock to 12.99@108

the only stock for stock Cobra that will have a chance to beat an LS1 is the 03-04 cobra

Actually a stock Mach 1 vs a stock LS1 should be a decent race. The LS1 is a badas motor, but not untouchable by any means.
