So I got bored yesterday and I really started thinkin about what wheels I want on my car. I have my track wheels which are draglites so my street wheels MUST be 4 lug. That being said I wanna see what you guys think would look best on my four-eyed.

Here are the welds that are for the track

Right now I drive it around like this. rockin the 10 holes:canada:

And now I have three photoshops of wheels Ive been looking at.

Option 1: Y2K cobra Rs. These may be hard to fit because I would get 18s.

Option 2: 03 Cobra wheels. Probably the simpliest wheel and no fitment issues.

Option 3: ROH Drifts? I think thats the name of em. UnderpressureGt used to have them on his car. I dont know if they would look good with black centers on my car. This photochop didnt turn out that good.

What do you guys think would look best on my car? Im also open to new suggestions as I am having a real hard time finding a wheel that I will be happy will spending some money on. All input and suggestions are welcome :nice:

Nobody makes Bullitt style wheels in 4-lug, that I know of. He says he's sticking with a 4-lug setup, so that kinda limits the selection a bit.

I dunno, I'm pretty well stuck on lovin' the plain ol' 16" Ponies, myself - maybe paste a set of those on there and see how you like 'em.

Those ROH's do look pretty nice, though - I don't see anything wrong with your Photoshoppin'. The 03 Cobras ... ehhh ... dunno. Not bad, but it somehow doesn't work with your car. The 18" rims are just overkill, too bling-blingy.

ROHs look great on those cars, and 03 Cobras are just all around classy and nice looking. Id say get the ROHs or Cobras.

But something about that car on 10 holes looks NICE! I picture that car running low 11s and rocking the 10 holes around!

i voted 03 cobrs before i saw that you ps'ed em all on your car(i have em and they're my favorite wheel by far. having seen them i don think they look good on your car- dont know why. the y2k cobras look decent though and imho the ROH's look like complete crap. i like the idea of grey bullits if you could find an aftermarket one in 4 lug that would rock! but some guys said they dont make em. oh well good luck!

i have seen some in 4 lug. someone on stangnet had them on a 87 or 88 gt i belive. they looked like crap. :notnice: if

Its a tough car to pick a set of wheels for. Its not like an aeronose because most of the wheels I displayed looks good on those. I really gotta stick with 4 lug for a while because I have other things that I gotta spend the money on. I really cant manage a 5 lug swap. Thanks for the opinions so far guys and if you know of any other good wheels that may look decent please let me know.

ohh....I think another factor is how my car has alot of black trim, The car doesnt look as updated as the 87-93s and maybe that is why the new style rims dont match too well.

I was SERIOUSLY looking at the ROH drfit r's, the black ones, and those things are EXPENSIVE, only reason I didnt get them was because of how expensive they are. Id go 03 cobras.

I would buy another set of welds with street tires and run em on the road. Then use the other welds for the track. Draglites look so mean on a Stang.
JMHO.

This is what I am strongly considering, getting another set of rear draglites and putting street tires on them and swapping them out when I go to the track.

i'd go with the ROH's i called them today to check the back spacing on the 18/8 and the 18/9 but he told me to call back and ask for Jeff i was looking at the same wheels ...

Its true what Woodrow said

get the ROH's, everything else mentioned is played out

This is why i i decided to call ROH. I don't know what cars have where you live but i want something diff and everyone has bullits, cobras, and ponies where i live

I like the wheels in the 2nd pic, but If I were you Id get the ROH's but dont get them in gunmetal, get them in silver, it would look way better IMO
