If you get a stall get a 2800 assuming you have a stock motor. You will need a shift kit too. If you go with SLP exhaust get a off road H pipe with it.

My friend has a SLP exhaust that he wants to sell.
i have an 00, how much does he want for it???? ive got a chip, so thats taking care of the shifting temporarily heh

Are you sure ???

I hope this isnt your daily driver. 3800 stall on a stock auto trans will take its toll and drive poorly in town, that is If you can make it work. Ive got several horror stories trying to chip an auto trans to make it work with gears and a stall; Youll bang the rev limter before the car shifts. I even lowered my shift points-500 and raised my rev limiter +500 and still hit the limiter. With the line pressure set high I could not get the car to shift out of first till it hit 2800 rpm ,crusing slow in town. When we dropped the pressure the car ran like a slush box. Dallas Mustang tried 3 times to chip my car and ended up refunding my money on the chips. Thanks DM.
A Jerry mod will help some; an interceptor transmission would help even more.

I took off most my mods including the gears (excluding the exhaust). Put on a NX wet kit using my factory air intake( and paper filter.. so long K&N and all the other intake junk I paid too much for and gained 6 hp).

Now my car runs great in town and turns low 12s at the track. My 60' are 1.75 with stock gears and ET streets.

You are about to make some big changes to you car. Dont expect it to work right away. The AODE is picky; playing with the line pressures using a chip, wont fix it. Good luck!
