I'm about to order some wheels for my car and I kinda just would like to know what the public opinion would be. Im staying with 17's and my car is a 2004 GT in screaming yellow.

1 - black bullitts (deep dish rears)
View attachment 184245

2 - black FR500's (deep dish rears)

3 - chrome 03/04 Cobra (deep dish rears)

WITH semi-deep dish fronts

4 - black 03/04 Cobra (deep dish rears)

WITH semi-deep dish fronts

I'm leaning towards the chrome 03/04 Cobra's. The black w/ polished lip look is on every other car here which is why I'm leaning away from them......

What does SN think?

The FR500 are my favorite wheel. That being said, I'm not a fan of black wheels. I'd rather have a set of wheels that stand out instead of looking like steelies.

Not sure I like the black and yellow bumblebee look but I am a [unbiased] fan of FR500s

You should show some pics of what your car currently looks like. That would help alot. Also, I find 18" rims look FAR nicer than 17", IMO. I'm not a big fan of black but they can look good on yellow depending on the car and what mods it already has.

I'll wait to vote and maybe you'll add some pics.

I voted for the chrome rims as I believe chrome & yellow goes well.

I dont have any pics of my car but it is a bone stock (appearance-wise) 04 SY GT w/ sock bullitts. Its lowered. Looks exactly like this car but in a coupe

I think 18's look good too but i just bought some really expensive nitto tires for my stock 17" bullitt wheels and i want to keep those tires. 18's are also really heavy.

I was thinking something like that as well. Was just too lazy to look it up. The anthracite like I have on my car might look good also.

You should have a "other" option on there LOL!
I say FR500's, but in chrome.
Chrome, and yellow look sick together.

I voted any type of FR500. And according to this website --> Weight Reduction Information the weight of a stock 17 x 8 Bullitt rim is 28 lbs. The weight of an 18 x 9 FR500 is 26 lbs. So the FR500s will actually be lighter than your stock Bullitts.

Even though you just bought 17" tires, if it were me, I'd sell them and go for 18" FR500s for sure.

The black/polished lip is sooooooo played out here. Every other car and truck has them here. I used to be into the look but have shy'ed away from it recently. I think those chrome 03's would look great.
