"small" in terms of the capable power output of the twins, relative to the amount you want to produce

Thanks. That is what I meant.

I'm not going to run more than 10psi on my car right now. I have no clue of what kind of power to expect once I get them put on.

Lets just hope it's one horsepower less than "block splitting power."

I donbt understand...

People have an assumption that TWIN turbos automatically mean more power.

Those turbos he will be running are pretty damn small, the only advantage for going twins is boost at such a much lower level.

AKA.

I get boost @ 1500rpm(4psi).

His boost will probably start at 2200rpm, and will burn rubber nicely!

Unless he is running a 347 R block with some very nice heads, then I would recommend twin T66's LOL... then that is SERIOUSS HP!

Theres no real HP gains with twins...just boost time.

Not true with all cases, but with his, its very true.

2 units get boost quicker?

What's the difference if you run 2 smaller units or 1 larger unit if both setups result in the same cfm for a given level of boost?

2 units have to share the exhuast that one larger unit would have used.

Is it the fact that they're so much smaller, that they use the exhaust more efficiently?

I haven't got into turbos yet. Was thinking about including one for my next project. I'd like to do a 66 GT350 with a 327 Turbo, but if I can get a handle on what you're saying, maybe I'll get better results with twin turbos.

thanks for the feedback.
