Help me find a power source

I need someone to tell me where to find a hot in run, hot in start power source either in the power block or in the dash area. The wire I was using to power the on / off switch on my MSD box ran through the instrument cluster and when I removed the cluster the power wire went South. You would think that there would be plenty of these wires but testing hasn't found one.

Please don't send me wiring diagrams. I don't read, write or speak electricese. I need a description like... the little red wire next to the big black boxthat runs into the firewall... well you know what I mean.

If you hae a coupe, you can tap into the purple wire with the orange stripe on the convertable harness. It will just be sitting there under the console, not used. Its right under the foglight switch. Some people use that wire to make their foglights more like running lights. Its pretty simple to get to it too.
