alright, i have an offroad h pipe layin around my house, but its too long, so im wondering if this would work. i measure the differance in length, cut the h pipe and then clamp the pieces of the h pipe back together. would this work? is it gonna screw up the angle on my tips? anyone done this before? ( i know it will probably work, i just only have one shot at this and i dont wanna wreck perfectly h pipe by doing something wrong) also the reason im doing this is cuz one of my cats on my x pipe is going out so i have to yank it off and get a new one, i just thought id put the o/r pipe on for the time being.

Exactly just get a new one instead of messing around with that.......besides you are going to ruin your catback by having to chop that thing up...due to its supposed to just slid into the h-pipe with no gaskets....it must not be for a stang so how is it going to bolt up to the headers or manifolds?

its for a mustang, its just that when i put on my race bullets i was switching from flows so my muffler guy bent the pipes so they would fit straight, and i dont wanna cut the cat back i wanna cut the h pipe. i just wanna see if i can get it to work. i dunno if that makes sense or not
