Help me pick a muffler, Im tired of dronemasters

DynoMax Super Turbos. I have them on my 96 Cobra with no cats and L/T's. Sometimes I can pass my car off as stock exhaust. People scratch their head still, but it's not that loud at all.

Are Frankenstang and I the only people on Stangnet lovin' the Violators?

If you had a sound clip or something. Personally I've never heard of them and don't know what type of design they are.

About the girl, man you guys are horny bastards. This is why we don't have many mustang girls, you scare them off!!!

If I found a girl in my area that liked 500hp fox bodies, I'd be in heaven.

magnaflow is great and I love the spintechs, but the spintech is loud all the time. not that I dont love the rumbly sound of a v8, but I like to occasionally talk on the phone or hear my radio without having to turn the car off.

+1 for spintech prostreets. loud but nearly no drone at all and still a chambered muffler like you requested.

mac shorties, o/r x, spintech prostreets and tail pipes = teh sex :D

Thanks. I like the setup I have but I wish it was a little louder at idle, I was thinking about getting some electric cutouts for when I am in stop and go traffic (Crusin). The car had flowmasters on it when I got it but they were rusted out alittle and had alot of the famous drone, the magnaflows have none at all

I have an o/r H with the same mufflers and stock tailpipes and it's great around town but nice and audible when I open it up.

I agree, and don't you love that Murrays carries them in stock and they are 39.99?

They were on there when I got my car back in 2001, and 1 blew a HUGE hole in it 2 months later, so I went to Murrays and I was shocked to see they were on the shelf. I bought 2 new ones and had my muffler shop slap them in for 40 bucks.

The Pypes website has a bunch of sound/video clips available, although their sound quality is pretty crappy. Audio/video recordings rarely do proper justice to ANY exhaust sound clip, unless you've got some serious high-end audio recording equipment going on...

I have a before/after clip of Violators behind a cat'ed UPR X-pipe and then an off-road X-pipe and Dynomax Super Turbo side-exits on my Myspace page (same screen name). The cat'ed X-pip ahead of the Violators REALLY muffles the sound too much. One of these days, I need to get a proper recording of Frankenstang's notch (same car in the Myspace video), as it's presently sitting with the proper off-road X-pipe and Violators w/tails arrangement - sounds killer. :nice:

Yeah they're hard to beat for the price and I personally find they sit noise level wise right where I want them to. I'd definitely go with them again.

I must be the only person here who doesnt care for magnaflows...?
To me, it doesnt sound like a 5.0 should at all, and i dont care for the tips..
but thats just my opinion, and i run flowmaster super 44's.
