help on pistons and piston rings for 351W?

one reason i would look at replacing the stock pistons is because of how low the compression must be with those pistons. Quite a bit of power can be added by upping the compression.

File fits are a pita imo. My machinist did mine for $40 and I consider it money well spent. If you are not running a power adder, I would not waste time or money on file fit rings. File fit rings are .005" oversized, .005, .035, .045 instead of std, .030, .040 for non file fit rings.
