Help on tires for 2000GT

Lookin at tires recently and i'm looking for suggestions or comments as to which is the best tire for my car. I am currently looking at FUZION ZRi tires. If anyone would help out with advice i would really appreciate it. Peace out.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's are going on the 02.
Bridgestone Potenza RE-750 are on the 01 - excellent dry, wet and wear.

What are your plans for your car? Alot of track action or just street?

Really depends on what you need out of your tires. Do you want super sticky or something that will last a while? Are you really concerned about wet traction?

I was big on wet traction and I got the BFG KDW's. Most people give them pretty good reviews.

Potenza's are pretty nice too. Toyo has some really sticky stuff as well if you don't mind a shorter life. Alot of people here rave about the Nitto 555's.

Go through the reviews at tire rack until you find something that suits your needs. There's no such thing as the best tire, there's just the best tire for your needs.

One of the most popular tires is the Nitto 555's. I've also heard good things about the Firestone Firehawks. BFG G-Force tires I've also heard are pretty good.

Yea....i'm looking for a long lasting....good gripping tire...i dont' do alot of track but i do street race alot. I want it to look good...be affordable...grip good and last

i got , BFG G-Force T/A KDW's in a 275/40-17...now, i just got them, but i had some 245/45-17's ,in a BFG G-Force T/A, not the KDW's, and the 4.10 rear-end, and they sucked. now with the KDW's in the 275 size they stick good ! just a small spin in 1st, and a cherp in 2nd .....

I have tried almost every tire on the market, and the tire i like the best is the Toyo Proxy T1-S. It drives great in the rain and grabs hard when its dry, and is great for cornering. A set should be good for 20k miles.

i'm also considering the fuzion zri tires. great price, decent reviews (tirerack), and they come in a 255/45-17 which is the size i've been thinking about getting



only problem is i don't know anyone with fuzion tires or anyone running 255's

What is a good summer tire? I live in Arizona so I dont see snow ever and rarely ever see rain. Tire life and performance are about equal importance, any suggestions what the best tire would be?

if you gonna keep you car daily driver, I say go with NT555
