So i just get my car buffed and chipped in its lookin good and soon as i pull in the drive way clutch cable snapped... Now i never replaced one of these but i know that its not that hard from the threads i read about it. If someone can point me to the right thread to install and to buy one.

very simple....up under the dash u will need to pull of the old wire where it connects to the clutch quadrent...its a 1/4 circle piece of plastic thats a faded white color. next, unscrew the clutch cable fro mthe frame rail. lastly remove the cover from the bellhousing and the tab holding it on. and then do it in reverse to install.

Is that what it looks like ? i dont really know anything about it another question what brand is good and where can i get it from..

i would recomend stuff from maximum motorsports. they supposedly have the best aftermarket cable that is closest to being like factory.

fiore, without a doubt kicks mm's butt left and right.

I've got the full write up, the clutch cable/adjuster bible. Read it in my link, more info than you ever wanted to know.

FYI, that's a HIGHLY unusual place for the cable to go bad. That outer sheath virtually never breaks. I suspect you got too close to your headers, and it burned up. If that's the case, you can get a longer sn95 cable and route it away from the headers.
