Hi everyone
Just joined the site, I,m haveing a hard time picking a style of chrome rims for our 35th anniversary rag top, this one is silver and we want to get some nice chrome rims for it ,but what would look good is a whole new problem, there is so much to pick from and it,s hard to tell what they wil look like when they are on.
Does anyone know of a site that people can submit there pictures so we can see what there car looks like with there choice of rims, or does anyone have a better answer.
Thanks everone mattly

I got chrome and like it very much but looking back i kinda wish i got something different. Id suggest Black FR500's on a silver car it looks sinister. Also black bullits w/ a polished lip in the back also looks very nice. As far as chrome goes I like the bullit stle best because ur going bling but w/ torque thrust style ur still keeping the muscle-ish part

I must say that chrome saleens look good on silver. myself though, I would get either black Fr500s or black bullitts. Check out the top of the talk thread. there is a pic link. Might give you some ideas.

I've always been a big fan of silver & black. I would deffinetley get the black wheels, if you are going to do that theme. However, if you are set on chrome, my buddy has chrome cobra-r's on his silver stang, and they look good. I would decide which color to go with if I were you, then choose style later.

Mattly, don't go black bullitts, they are ugly (JK!!! I've got a set of 18x9s and 18x10s on couch waiting for new shoes)

I have a set of chrome Cobra R (I think...) replicas on my car right now. I love the way they look on white/silver cars, but since my top and interior are both black, I am going with black wheels to set the car off. Therefore, I am getting rid of the wheels prettttttty soon...*wink wink* Right now I have 255s on the front and 275s on the back. Going 265 (maybe 255) up front and 295 out back.

Just my 2¢.

P.S. You should go with some 18x9 (18" diameter, 9" wheel depth) Chrome Cobra R replicas with some 255s up front and 275s out back

There is a sticky that has TONS of pictures of different stangs...it's in the talk section at the top.

I personally like the saleen rims or FR500's. Just my opinion...

IMHO 17" wheels are too small for Mustang GTs and 19" wheels are too big...

I guess it just looks like there's too much tire with 17" wheels.

18" FTW!!

Yeah....18" wheels are a must. If I was ever to get diff. rims i'd go w/ DD fr500's, but I still haven't seen a person yet(in person) w/ my wheels. Kenny Brown y2k Cobra's.....gunmetal powdercoat ftw!!!
