Help please!! my buddy 97's Trans. said BLAAH

well i wasn't there but he's relying on me to ask the ???

Will a 3650 work with a windsor block on his 97? is the block any different from the romeo?? What set up will he need??? I assume belhousing.. but anything else? He said he found a 3650 for sale for 1K. Please give my buddy a hand, lol...... Thanks !!!!

the tremec 3650 will bolt right into his muctsnag, but i think the speed sensors are different and there will be no way to make his speed sensor work right. the 3650 uses a speed sensor with a magnetic pickup whereas the 97 still uses a gear at the end. my friend has one in his tranny and everyting works except for the speedo...if you know of a way around this i would be interested because he gets a lot of speeding tickets because of not having a speedo.

So does that mean is odometer doesnt work either?
