Hi guys..

Im installing 275/40/17 on the rear on a 17x9 cobra r wheel this weekend. My question is...I know I may have to flip the quadshock but can I still install them and then flip the shock another day? Can I drive the car without the quadshock flipped? Will the car move and could I damage the wheel? Because I wanna install the wheel and drive to the shop to get them flipped or removed..but am I able? Thanks

Joe

yeah, i have 275/40ZR17s on my 17x9 Cobra Rs and they didn't rub too bad... Just a little when I went around turns and whatnot, but since then, I've installed some 1/4" wheel spacers which have completely fixed tha problem... they don't rub on the tire anymore going around corners... you should try that, got mine for $10 at Carlisle this year

nice..do the 1/4 spacers make the wheels stick out more? Because I dont want that tire sticking out of the fender look!..Thanks

Nah, they don't make the wheels stick out... before the spacers, they were inside the fenders and tha front wheels actually stuck out a little from the fender, so i was hoping it would help even them up... now it's just about flush with the fender, it looks real nice... and you don't have to change the studs w/ only a 1/4" spacer

Well guys I installed them..But the quad is rubbing hard on one side..So I tryed flipping it but cant get the damn bolt loose! There so tight..what can I try?
