Help! TT II's and offsets, backspacing!

OK, so I'm about to order a set of 4 17x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels. I know I need a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, but what about the offset and backspacing? That company has got A LOT of options.

I need to know my offset and spacing with 17x8 wheels

Did you ever find out the correct offset and backspacing? I have a 98 gt with 16 in and I wanted to get the same type wheels 17x8, but in black. Could I also put wider on the back? I could really use the answers myself. Thanks Steve
