same as yours. by the way do u have any problem starting ur car up when its hot?sometimes i need to pump the gas pedal to get it started. i was told that it was the cams thats making it hard to start

Heck of a time when the car is real cold.. Takes a few minutes to smooth out with some kicking . Real rough.. Tunner said we should be able to fix this.

I don't have any problems starting any other time...

I guess I need to learn how to drive... You haven't obviously driven a newer vette... The clutch difference has nothing to do with it.. It's the way the transmission works.
the type of clutch linkage tells you when you can bring it out of gear, into a new one and let off. there is much less guess work in a cable clutch vs. hydraulic. I have driven a new vette, the only thing better is the seating position. Mustangs make you sit very awkward thus increasing the chances of missing gears.

try this. when shifting to second, pull the shifter directly toward you, like your are holding a uh...microphone. When shifting to third, push the shifter up and away from you with the area just below the first joint on your thumb and just above your wrist.

What are your gear and where are you shifting? Do you have a graph of your dyno? You probably should be shifting close to 6.5k or more with those cams.

Power has nothing over having the correct setup and driving experience. I would take a good look at your setup first. With 500rwhp, you could run 10s with the correct setup.

Put up a list of your mods and dyno so we can see everything.

According to the CompCams web site the RPM range for the XE270AH is 1800 - 5800

116mph trap speeds do NOT equate to ANY 11 sec slips. Low 11's would be in the low 120mph range. Your traps do equate to your ET. Your 60' times look pretty respectable, but your trap is WAY too low for 500/500. I think you really need to work on your driving skills.

Not true...my very first 11 second pass was a 11.8 @ 115. I just think you need to work on your driving skills and you'll be good to go.
