Help w/ Trick Flow Rocker install

I'm installing the Trick Flow HCI kit and just a little confused about the adjustment of the rocker arms. I have the no. 1 cyl at TDC, both rocker arms are in the closed position, and ready to go.

My question is about the rocker arms and the adjusting nuts which hold them in place. Do I do anything with the alan head in the center or just tighten the outside hex nut until there is preload and then 1/4 turn w/ hex nut, not using alan screw? Then do the following cyl in firing order?

The instructions aren't real clear. It tells you how to do it, but not specifically what to adjust , infact doesn't say anything about the alan head.

you should do all of your adjustmenst with hex nut and while holding hex nut in place, lock in place with the allen set screw. there are a few ways to adjust them and if you do a search there will be alot of good info on this.
