HELP! What is this noise?

Ok, I own a FRPP SVO supercharged 97 gt 5-speed. When i start the car whether i'm in gear or neutral, there is a whining noise that sounds like its coming from somewhere in the drivers side dash. (Behind gauges etc.) It only lasts about 15-30 seconds but just wondering if anyone knows what this could be? Thanks for any help!

Do you have any aftermarket electronics in the car that could have the brain mounted under the dash? Unless is comming from the engine bay via a hole in the firewall I don't know of anything under there that "should" make any noise.

You need to post a video. It could be anything from your clutch to your vacuum tubes.... Hard to tell from just some text message.
