Help!!! Window won't come down anymore!!

Today when I left work, I went to put my passenger side window down and it would not go or even make a noise like it was trying to. I went to Ford and asked if it could be a fuse and he said no because the Driver side still works. I guess both windows run off of the same fuse?? Anyways they said it might be the switch, but neither one works and what are the chances that both would go bad at the same time. So I am thinking it is the motor. A friend of mine can get me one for 50.00. I am just wondering how hard is it to get the door panel off and replace it. Ford want like 300.00.

It is not that hard. The door panel comes off easy and you have to take the speaker out. Three bolts hold the motor in place. It took me a little less than two hours to change one and it was my first time ever doing it.

if its a regulator-its a bitch to do, and expensive. look into the 300 dollar range. rivets have to be drilled out, and rebolted.
