Hello everybody. My name´s Marcelo, i´m from Brazil and love some Ford´s cars like; Mustangs and Mavericks.
Here in Brazil is very hard to find a good Mustang and Maverick - classic one - but since last week i started to find some 94 - 95 mustangs and i was very happy with these news....
I need some help because i want a 94 - 95 gt mustang with V8 302cid (i guess?!?)
What can i do to have a good car like this? How to buy a good one and what parts that i have to be careful when i will see the car?
After that i ´ll post more topics with some performance parts that i want to use...
One more time, thanks all for this forum and i hope to get some help here.....
Thanks a lot, Marcelo

How to buy a good one and what parts that i have to be careful when i will see the car?

try to avoid these things!..leaks,ticking,rubbing ,grinding noises, vibration, lots of smoke, rust, mis aligned body parts, loose wires

main seals go bad
trac loc in rearend wears
trans shifts correct
clutch engages well
loose steering

He said Brazil not Venezuela. Brazil is almost 45% on ethanol for its transportation fuel needs.

Welcome, not too many south american members here. Hope you enjoy, this group is fairly laid back and all in all a good group of people here.

I do not know if Brazil is like this but there may be some model changes for the south american market. I know some of the full size (F150 based) bronco's were carb way in to the 90's and some never saw fuel injection. If you dont mind posting the specs or mods to the mustang when you find one...this may be the best to get an idea of what has been done/condition of the car.

OH, about the 0 post count. Posts in Talk do not add to your post count. You could have 2 million posts in talk and you will get 0 added to your post count. It is to take away from post "whore-ing".

Heres a link to a thread that I started about 94-95 Cobra's.Theres a couple of posts that deal with what to look for when looking at a car. If you would post your goals we can help you out with performance upgrades...
