I purchased Ford Racing Billett pedals for my '03 GT Stang. I have installed the clutch, brake, & dead pedal. I can't figure out how to get the pin out that holds the gas pedal on. Has anyone done this? What is the best way to get the pin out and reinstall?

If i remember right there should be bolt that hold the bracket on the gas pedal to the firewall. Nothing special just a bolt and nut. I did it back in may so its been a while but i'm pretty sure.
That's not what he's talking about...
There's a pin that holds the gas pedal to the assembly that bolts to the car.

I bought the full assembly so I didn't have to take that pin out, I don't know how you do it. I know there are others here who have done it though.

I replaced my pedals and it is not that big a deal.
Remove the gas pedal bolt and unhook the throttle body cable - clamp entire unit down on something solid(you don't want to bend the shaft)
Take a hole punch and knock the pin out(be careful it's in there tight)you might actually want to break the old pedal off it's easier.Install in reverse and your done.
PS - you might want to take up the slack in the pedal while your down there(instructions in "how-to"section of mustangworld.com)

Like said above, its easiest to take the whole pedal assembly out and then drive the pin out. I couldn't get the pin back in, so I ended up using a small bolt and nut to install the new pedal. Good luck!
