Help With Driver Window

Sounds like the window motor going bad

The post doesn't say the model year of your car. Will assume this a a 96+.

If looking for an explanation of HOW the windows can work sometimes but not others. Consider that the window circuit is protected by an automatic reset circuit breaker. The window motor itself also as and internal CB to protect the motor.

Soooooooo if the window is binding, this could make the motor draw too much current. The CB will heat up and then trip. After a cool down period the CB resets. Wash/rinse/repeat.

Bottom line, this could be a bad motor or excessive window binding.

hehe my passenger side dose same thing I have to hit the button 3-4 times or just a drive then passenger side will work.
