alright I'm new the this board. I have a 95 that used to be a v6. I now have a roller 302 . anyways, I have a rear end question. I hate to see that one wheel peel on my sn and finally found a 8.8. only problem is that it is out of a 89 mustang. I was wondering if anyone new if this would bolt up.. I know the 89 has the stock four lug and drum set up on it.. I can deal with the conversion on that.. but I dont have access to a welder and dont want to fab stuff up.. I also needed to know what would be a good tell tell sign that it is a 8.8. I know it has the bone brace at the nose of the pumpkin just like every other 8.8 I have seen on 95's .. Am I wasting my time?
. if there is nothing serously wrong with it buy it and build your self a strong rear end. Check to see if the rear end has a tag on one of the bolts that hold the diff cover that should tell you if its 8.8 or not. if its not there I don't rememder how to tell
.
you never know till u ask..
