help with shocks

I have a 98 cobra convertible with eibach pro kit and stock shocks and struts, my problem is when I hit bumps or especially when I go over bridges the car bounces me around, on smooth roads its fine, I am wanting to upgrade shocks & struts, not sure if I want bilstein or an adjustable, I really am looking mainly for better ride quality and time to time drag strip.

When you say "throws you around" what exactly does that mean? I have H&R Supersports with Bilsteins. They are a very good shock/strut. It's my springs that are a bit rough on rough roads but my Bilsteins are great. Do you have Subframes too? My vert used to roll bad before I put in my subs. My springs are VERY stiff but the Bilsteins help a lot. That's my very one sided opinion.

I mean that you get bounced up and down in the seat when your on the concrete bridges, thinking my rear shocks are gone, the pro-kit thats on my vert is for a coupe so the rear is a little lower than the front, anyone know the difference in the pro-kit springs for a vert and coupe, thinking maybe I would only have to change out the rear springs to the vert ones
