ok i think maybe i figured out why car won't start (hopefully) anyone got any pics of there solonoid?i have one post on it that is empty.. somthing has to go there right? but what its the one closer to thefirewall with a minus symbol under it.. what goes there and ware should it come from? maybe i accidently dissconected it?

What year car? The wiring changed when Ford went to a different model starter.
The following is for 86-90 without the high torque mini starter.
All the wires with big lugs go on the front solenoid post except the big wire that goes to the starter. The big wire for the starter goes on the back post. The small slip on connector goes to the 10-32 screw post on the starter solenoid.
