what are they? ive seen them recommended by alot of u guys, but i dont exactly know what they are(i know they basically stiffen the body or something), where they go, and even if they are easily installed. please fill me in
the "full length" "weld in" connectors are basicly two (or more) pices of tubular steel welded to the chasis around both ends (front and rear) and/or along the length of the connector, underneath the car. This type is not easily installed without mig welding experience, and a lift. There are some shorter connectors that bolt in, but I don't know anything about them.
They stiffen the car. I have a warped driverside front quarter panel because I didn't install subframes and was making frequent visits to the track. If you plan on doing any racing I suggest full length subframe connectors. www.maximummotorsports.com makes the best.
SFC's are a must if you plan on taking it to the track or run high horsepower. Last thing you want is a contorted frame. The selection shortens if you have side exhaust though
